Antique Shopping in Iowa
Last week I had the chance to enjoy the beautiful fall weather and go antiquing with two of my co-workers. We visited Walnut and Elkhorn, Iowa. So many great things to see!
Sunflowers
The weather in Omaha has been spectacular the last few days. I couldn’t resist taking a few shots of these sunflowers while the days are still sunny.
Apple Jack Festival, Nebraska City
My husband and I drove to Nebraska City on Sunday to visit Kimmel Orchards for the 41st Annual Apple Jack Festival. It was our first visit to the festival and to Nebraska City. The day was windy, overcast and threatened with rain. The sun never came out, but we had a good time, and so did the other visitors.
Weekend in Niobrara, Nebraska
We were invited to stay with a group of friends at a vacation home in Niobrara for the long Labor Day weekend. It was beautiful and relaxing. A fabulous time was had by all. Thank you Greg and Cory, you are wonderful hosts and good friends!
